On a team call this week, we asked everyone a question: who has recently made you feel proud?
Everyone took a moment to think. What came back was exactly what you'd hope for.
The characters our team shared aren't necessarily in this week's headlines. They're in the group chats, on the other end of phone calls, in the houses and classrooms and training routes of the people who love them most.
A daughter who just walked into her first week of college — a milestone that feels both sudden and a long time coming. A friend who survived as a solo parent for two weeks, the kind of heroic holding-it-together that only the people closest to her probably noticed. A sister who enrolled in school to pursue something she'd been putting off, because she decided the right time was now. And a friend who is actively training to travel from the North Pole to the South Pole. (Not dreaming about it. Training for it.)
Pride is different from admiration. You can admire someone from a distance. But pride requires proximity. It comes from knowing someone well enough to understand what something actually cost them, and watching them do it anyway. It's one of the most powerful things we can offer each other.
So we're asking you: who has recently made you proud? Tell her. And then tell us on Instagram.
P.S. One woman we're feeling especially proud of right now? Our 2026 Texas Conference for Women keynote speaker, Tunde Oyeneyin. See why.
